This workshop is for the overwhelmed leader in search of an outlet and information to overcome life and work burnout and anxiety.
According to the most recent Gallup poll, 66% of leaders are experiencing burnout. (Article reference HERE).
It is disturbing to know that 6 out 10 people in your closest space are stressed.
I am losing my mind.
I don’t have the support I need.
I cannot keep up with the work load.
Everyone demands more from me than I can give.
Today’s high expectation of living and working in an on-demand culture that over rewards busyness and undervalues pacing is toxic. We are in a rush to achieve more in under-resourced environments. We want to show our board members, staff, business partners, supervisors, constituents, etc. that we have it all together and are the supreme multi-taskers.
But what is the truth?
We are overwhelmed, tired, exhausted, and are out of touch with our core essence of capacity. We can’t do it all at the same time. We are working on the adrenaline of achievement and now as leaders, we are experiencing burnout. Burnout causes us to question everything around us. We find ourselves asking, “Am I even suppose to be in this leadership space?”
This workshop is for the overwhelmed leader who is in search of an outlet and information of how to handle stress, anxiety, and an overwhelming work day to build the mental and verbal courage to overcome.
In this workshop, we will explore:
• The signs of leadership burnout
• How to communicate your needs to your team
• Tips and tools to overcome burnout
• Identifying reality and expectations of day-to-day activities
• Best practices to prevent being so overwhelmed
Leaders, there is always a better way to do and handle our most stressful areas in life. Wisdom is knowing when, and now is the time to confront burnout and overcome it!
